1/8″ (0.125″) Bleed on all sides: Bleed refers to an extra 1/8″ of image that extends beyond the trim area of your printing piece. The postcard is printed on an oversized sheet that is cut down to size with the appearance that the image is “bleeding” off the edge of the paper. Used for trimming your project.
Artwork/Border: All frame borders must be at least 1/4″ (0.25″) from the trim line (where it’s cut). All artwork inside of this lie is safe from being cut off.
- Bleeds: all files must have a 1/8″ (0.125″) bleed on all sides
- Live Area: keep all critical text and artwork 1/8″ inside the trim
- Resolution: 300 dpi minimum (400 dpi preferred)
- Fonts: fonts must converted to curves/outlines
- Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
- Types of Files We Accept: MAC & PC files from Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (EPS or AI), Adobe Acrobat PDF, TIFF, PNG or JPEG.
